Southwest Earth Festivals Association, SWEFA, is a unique Pagan organization. It is not incorporated,
has no charter or bylaws, and consists of whoever shows up for meetings. This remarkably successful anarchistic format has
sustained 25 plus years of Pagan festivals celebrating the Turning of the Wheel.
Volunteers
who attend the planning meetings held in January and June every year, have first choice on any event or ritual coordination
for that year. Proxies can be sent with friends.
We
are those who show up to help create five safe and blessed earth festivals in and near Albuquerque, New Mexico. Volunteers
who are actually at the planning meetings held in January and June, have first choice on any event or ritual coordination.
Proxies can be sent with friends.
They are:
Beltane (May
Day)
Midsummer Mirth (MSM) (Litha or Summer Solstice)
Enchanted Mountain Gathering (EMG) (Lughnasagh or Lammas)
Witches Ball (the Saturday after Samhain)
Yule (Winter Solstice)
We also participate in Albuquerque Pagan Pride Day (in honor of Litha / Summer Solstice)
All proceeds
from these events goes into the Land Fund for future purchase of land on which to hold some of these events.
So mote it be. And ye harm none.
